During the 2020 annual meeting of White Oak Grove CUUPS our Board of Directors saw its first significant change in the executive leadership since the group’s inception as Betsy retired from her service as President.  This well-earned break for her comes after years of tireless work to get White Oak Grove up and running as a cogent organization in the Rockford area pagan community.  While Besty has taken a step back, she will continue to serve as Executive Secretary for the 2020 – 2021 operating year.

Stepping up into the position of President of White Oak Grove CUUPS is Allen Reed, the former Executive Secretary.  Allen posted the following message to the White Oak Grove Facebook Page.

Hello, I would like to introduce myself as I have stepped up be president of the Board of Directors for the White Oak Grove CUUPS chapter. I have been a member of the White Oak Grove since it started and have been a member of the Board since it started as well.

I have been a pagan for many years but mostly as a solitary practitioner. I currently look to the Norse and Celtic paths for inspiration.

At this time of crisis we are currently not meeting (due to the virus) but look forward to doing so again on a regular basis. Perhaps we can all celebrate Lughnasadh together to celebrate coming out of this crisis. If not, then we can look toward Samhain instead.

The rest of the Board Members for 2020 – 2021 have remained the same.  This year’s Board Members, as voted in unanimously, will sit in the following positions.

  • Allen – President
  • April – Finance/ Treasurer
  • Betsy – Executive Secretary/ Outreach/ Social Media
  • Juliette – Recording Secretary
  • Kristen – PR/ Website
  • Wes & Warren – Members at Large

If you would like to be able to join the White Oak Grove CUUPS Board of Directors for the 2021 -2022 operating year,  or vote on who sits on the Board of Directors please consider becoming a dues-paying member of the group.  White Oak Grove CUUPS dues help us to continue covering operating fees and offer ongoing programming to our community.
